A Little Boy With A HUGE Heart!

This story will touch your heart like never before and will make you think how sometimes we complain for insignificant things. This little boy will show you that nothing should stop you if you have dreams… His father wrote this

“Meet Grant. My new son. My life changed the moment he came into it, and I’m so grateful! This is an art page and he is God’s masterpiece.

This is a short (and obviously very homemade) documentary about Grant, who is 6 years old. Grant has a form of dwarfism called Diastrophic Dysplasia. This is just one of many forms of dwarfism. He is a little person.

I am continually humbled by Grant, and his love, determination, and heart. He and I teamed up to try and help tear down the walls between little people and people of average height–and really between all people, in this little documentary. We hope that everyone will just see people as people, and love them for who they are”

3D-Printed Sculptures

These 3D-printed zoetrope sculptures were designed by John Edmark, and they only animate when filmed under a strobe light or with the help of a camera with an extremely short shutter speed. He shares about the project:

“These are 3-D printed sculptures designed to animate when spun under a strobe light. The placement of the appendages is determined by the same method nature uses in pinecones and sunflowers. The rotation speed is synchronized to the strobe so that one flash occurs every time the sculpture turns 137.5º—the golden angle. If you count the number of spirals on any of these sculptures you will find that they are always Fibonacci numbers.”

For this video, rather than using a strobe, the camera was set to a very short shutter speed (1/4000 sec) in order to freeze the spinning sculpture.

And the results are stunning!
