Thanks for sharing life saving tips. My parents home caught on fire from a lightning strike to the electrical box in the attic of the second floor. Fires are scary.

I am sorry for what happened to you. I am so glad you & your family are safe. My 76 yr old daddy lives w/ us. We have dogs & birds also. My husband is a truck driver and we are gone for days to weeks at a time.

Im am so sorry about your house.
I have kids granddaughter and most of kids toys use batteries and this brought an alarm in my head. Id like to see more videos as u make them. Again so sorry about your house .

thank you so much! I am sorry for the loss of your home and so thankful your family and pets were able to evacuate safely. My dad is a retired professional firefighter and I was raised with fir safety. This is something I had no knowledge of and yes I am guilty of the exact same thing. I will spread the word and never have batteries of any type in my home with the terminals exposed again.

One year ago this morning I watched in
horror as my next door neighbor(a dear
friend of 40years who was in a hospice
facility only days from passing)house
burn to the ground.Her son and his
girlfriend made it out with only minor
injuries but sadly her beloved pets did not.
