What an AMAZING story, and what a HERO! A Kansas City police officer, who did not want to be identified, is being hailed as a hero for saving two dogs who became separated from their owners.
As it turns out, the dogs escaped the safety of their home in south Kansas City. The officer spotted them and waited until a shelter could pick them up. “It’s cold. Most people wouldn’t look twice at some dogs running around,” she said.
Debbie shared the photo on Facebook and thousands saw it.
The dogs’ owners, Austin and Ashley Mozingo, went to the KC Pet Project to look for their little escape artists. “I think that’s an awesome story,” Austin said. “It’s good to know there are still police officers out there who still enjoy helping out the community, especially in helping out such sweet dogs.”

As we approach Christmas these parents were wondering if their children realize how fortunate they are compare to other kids that might have nothing.  So they planned an innocent prank.  They decided to let them have one early gift 2 weeks before Christmas. One completely terrible gift that is.  Their reaction…. PRICELESS.. They were so excited, what great kids… Guys, you raised them well 🙂

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department was out looking for people. And when they spotted them, they went after them in a sting operation the likes of which this country has never seen.

What made this operation especially unusual was the man behind it: a fellow in a red hat — known to these men only as “Secret Santa.”

Every year this anonymous, wealthy businessman gives out about a hundred thousand dollars worth of hundred dollar bills to random strangers. But this year, instead of doing it all himself, he “deputized” these deputies to give away much of it. “Let’s start with a thousand,” Secret Santa said as he gave the deputies the money.

And so, armed to the teeth with Benjamins, the officers went out to do Santa’s bidding. They specifically went after people they thought would appreciate it most. Cars driving while dented were likely targets.

I love it when people do nice things for other people…
