I didn’t know this! I will try it next time… Looks better than using a plunger…
Uhhhhh. paper towels dissolve in water over time
Need help with gurgling sink & smelly shower drain any help would be appreciated,as landlord does not want to no about it.Thanks for any solution 😉
Check at your home depot or lowes and ask if they have any “Clobber”, if they don’t have that brand, ask if they have something similar for clogged drains. Wear rubber goves and goggles in case of splashing. Follow directions on label.
I have tried this and it worked!
I use this method a lot of times. Like you said, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Most of the time it does.

Try “Clobber” if your local hardware or home store carries it, follow directions
I tried it –works well
I am going to try this actually today I definetly hope it works for me, thank you for the tip!
If you have a septic tank does the detergent negatively impact the fluids drained into the soil? Impact on vegetation around the drain field?
I’ve done a lot of plumbing work, and I always use a closet auger. I do like your method though i’ll give it a try if ever at someone’s home and I don’t have my tools with me, like at a party. Thanks for the tip!
The web site about un stopping a commode
Yes this might unclog the toilet but paper towels are not made to break down like toilet paper therefore it just goes down into your main sewer line and get caught on a tree root that may be growing or on any other small obstruction causing a bigger one and making your floor drain in the basement or elsewhere overflow!!
I’ve been using this method for years but you need to do one young differently. Pour a full pail of hot water from WAIST high so it goes into bowl with more pressure. It makes a BIG difference and also use Dawn detergent. Just say’n.

Thank you for all your postings.
another tip; keep your br sink clog free, use spic n span followed by hot water, may have to do this several times, patience, but it works for me
nothing like cleaning poop before sending it into the wsterways! but in a larger household, plungers rule!
