Toxic lake? That’s rather dramatic !

Its pig poo! its sprayed on farm fields and used for fertilizer to raise crop, not toxic waste !

I like the way Mark sounds like an authority on this issue. If you believe what ur saying, move to the houses that are less than 50 or 60 feet/yds. away….and get sprayed with the ‘perfume’ that comes out. You’re just flat wrong. This should be stopped….

Feet or yards dipshit, pick one. 60 feet is 60 feet, 60 yards is 180 feet, bit of a difference you brain dead twit. If you choose to live that close to a pig farm,,,,,,,,,,, you are stupid or just enjoy the natural scent of pigs.

Mark, You must not live near one of these. I do, the pig farm I must endure is much smaller then this. It was so bad when they sprayed the manure on the field without the aid of a disc… our state finally demanded no more spraying and they now shank it into the ground. BIG improvement. I do not like the meat that comes from these farms, so hunt for a farmer that raises a few hogs… on the ground… when I am ready to put a pork in the freezer.

You hunt for a farmer that raises a few hogs. Hmmmmmm… sounds like you walk out to his hog pen and shoot what you want. What is ethical or challenging about that. Sounds the same as a butcher to me. What state do you live in that demanded no more spraying? And just what does a disc have to do with spraying? Let me help you out here. When you spray liquid onto dry dirt it normally makes the ground wet…..are you with me on that? So if you are following along when the ground is wet that means tractors aren’t able to plow the fields, I am guessing that is where the disc comes in. I really don’t believe you know anything about what you have written and just want to add your uninformed voice to an already been there done that conversation. Now if you chose to answer remember this, I will check to find out if you are telling the truth if you name the state you mentioned. I really doubt you will.

The last part about “this being hidden from the publice” was kind of humorous. I guess we should raise hogs in the middle of someone’s subdivision?

This video is nothing but garbage propaganda. There are no actual knowledgeable people in this video. This lagoon is far from hidden, and is actually very well built from what I can see in the video.
Yes some of the manure is spread using a irrigation style nozzle, and is usually worked in within a couple of days so that it does not run-off into the local streams, creeks, and ditches. They are never used near a house. Where is the field exactly by that ladies house? I don’t see a field, I see a wooded area. And last time I checked… Human waste doesnt smell good either…
If you want to see the exact same thing as that lagoon, go look at your local sewage treatment plant. That’s where all that stuff you mindlessly flush down the toilet goes, and it stinks too. Same as that dump where you send all your garbage to.

Stop listening to jackasses like this guy. If you want to know where your pork comes from go ask a hog producer. If you want to know where your bread comes from, go ask a farmer, if you want to know where you milk comes from go ask a dairy farmer. Don’t ask un-educated moron’s like this…

In a former gig, I delivered office supplies to a couple of these operations. Huge, noisy, smelly (hey, it’s a pig farm) and generally not great for the pigs.
When I was a boy, my Granddad raised a few pigs. His was an open-air farm though, the pigs were raised in the open rather than cooped up in huge sheds. Totally different method back in the old days, though the final outcome for the pigs was about the same.

However did he keep the drone so steady when it was interviewing the people and flying through the barns???? After all, the title is “Spy Drones Expose …” not “Spy Drones and some spliced in stuff…..” and why did he walk through a bunch of brush to launch the drone. Is the pilot an idiot? I watched it without sound (because I have an aversion to someone trying to spoon feed me). Looked like a very clean installation from the drone pictures. I assume the sprinkler was spraying pig waste. Are you aware that’s how some municipalities process your waste?

Pig farms are so tightly regulated, this is just propaganda. Lagoons are also used for processing human waste all over the country. The sprayers are spraying liquid that has been through processing. It stinks because the gas is still there. This video is a perfect example of the use of audio to disguise… er, influence your opinion of what you are seeing.
