Old Boy was a stray dog in Singapore who was rescued by Save Our Street Dogs.
What started out to be a routine rescue turned out to be a lesson in life and death.
Street Dogs only ask for food, water, shelter, and our companionship, yet that is not easy to come by in an urban city like Singapore where they are an eyesore and constantly persecuted.
At least Old Boy felt love in his last minutes of his life…

That dog was tortured more by not putting him to sleep. His “communicator”? It was a nice thing to do to take him off the street but to continue his suffering if you KNEW he was going to die is just wrong.

Dignity to live out his karma and die naturally? Oh my god, they’ve just let him suffer longer! They should’ve put him asleep the moment they knew he was suffering and in pain. Living out his karma would more be like leaving him on the streets to die in stead of prolonging his painful life by feeding him.
