A Mother Finds The People Who Saved Her Son’s Life

Ten years after a tragic car accident, Kellie wants to find the heroes that saved her son’s life and thank them. Ten years ago Kellie, her husband, and their 14-week old baby boy were driving home from visiting family. They were listening to Al Greene’s ‘Let’s Stay Together’ blaring on the car stereo. The sun was setting. And that is all she remember… The next scene in her memory feels like a camera lens trying to come into focus. It is a fuzzy and blurry image of a small, golden cross hanging from someone’s neck.  This car accident killed her husband, AJ, and left her son in critical condition.

This video tells Kellie’s story of the tragedy, and the amazingly uplifting journey to thank all of the people that helped save her infant son.  Be ready to cry, it is pretty emotional , I couldn’t help to cry throughout most of the video.  And I also couldn’t stop thinking of all the times I wasn’t thankful and that I should follow Kellie’s steps.

What did you think of this video?

  4. aww this makes me emotional again I get like that..so sad and so happy in the end…life has some ups and downs and some downs are really big falls but once you fall, the only way you can go is ”up” unless you do nothing ..this had a lot of tragedy and in the end a lot of happiness and it’s a true story…a story written by ordinary people ..something happens to so many people ..and she was so strong and she had a big loss but I like the ending of this…xo

How touching! This would make a beautiful movie (with Jennifer Garner playing Kellie!) I’m so happy that Eli was okay in the end and that Kellie found happiness with another man as well. What amazing people who helped to save Eli’s life and what a wonderful project to thank them!!

  8. As I sit here weeping for not only your loss, but your amazingly beautiful heart and how you were strong enough to make sure that you thanked the people who had helped your son. I think I will take a lesson from you and thank people more often, so thank you for being brave enough to share your story and your wonderful family with us. I wish nothing but happiness for all of you
