November 18, 2014. Toronto Maple Leafs vs Nashville Predators. The mic cuts out half way through the US National Anthem. What do Canadian fans do? They take it from there! This is really cool!

I have to begrudgingly admit an admiration for the Canadian’s actions, on this occassion. I just wish they were this GOOD more often.

If the situation was reversed, I doubt the audience in the US could recite the Canadian national Anthem. I suspect at least 10-15 % of the audience would say 1) Where is Canada 2) Is Canada part of the United States? We have no manners when it comes to situations like this because we are so involved with ourselves that we think we are the only country in the world.

I thought this was so amazing! Mostly because it was the American anthem and how often would any American stand up and sing for the Canadians? I can’t think of any. Glad to be an American but WOW do I appreciate those Canadians!
