Wow, this video is so shocking! After watching it you’ll think twice about leaving your personal belongings out in your hotel room. The person that posted the video refused to give the name of hotel. You can clearly see a cleaning lady browsing through the unidentified guest’s belongings, and even trying to unlock a tablet.
Next time you stay at a hotel, Keep you’re items hidden in the trunk of a car or at least hidden from view!

pretty bad when you pay a pretty price to start a hotel or motel and have staff snoopping around in your stuff, no clean linen or sheets..we stayed at one cost for two rooms for 4 days $590 thats alot of cash..it was clean and they waited until we were in the room to clean and asked where we were from and so on.. we had no problem..I think this snoop ought to lose her job u snoop u could also take what u want!

THAT IS SO SAD, THAT’S WHY I ALWAYS PUT OUT THE “DO NOT DISTURB” SIGN, WHEN WE TRAVEL,..WE NEVER LET ANYONE IN OUR ROOM, NOT EVEN TO CLEAN, WE CLEAN OURSELVES..WE TAKE OUR OWN SHEETS AND TOWELS..I BETTER NOT CATCH ANYONE IN MY ROOM WHILE I’M OUT..THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY…

Putting the do not disturb sign on your room means nothing. I had all my Chanel makeup and $27,000 worth of jewelry stolen from my hotel room just 2 hours before checkout. We have the do not disturb sign on the room, were packed up totally and went to the lobby for b/fast; then ckout. I was lucky though. I personally sent over 300 flyers out to jewelry stores, pawn shops, consignment and antique jewel stores and got all but $7,000 back 5 months later. Someone privately sent it to my home in a small box with just regular postage. The hotel was a fancy boutique hotel in Carmel, CA two days after Christmas last year. PUT ALL VALUABLES IN THE ROOM SAFE OR HOTEL SAFE. ALWAYS!!!! Maids steal! A sign means NOTHING! As for my Chanel makeup, polish and perfume? Why would someone think that would get stolen?

This makes me furious. My husband travels for his job and stays in a motel extensively. He has had his things gone thru on several occasions. I have also been with him on occasion and purposely hung the ” Do Not Disturb” sign out. It does no good. They came in anyway and was shocked to see me sitting there.

I read a safety tip on how you should take zip ties with you and zip tie suit cases and valuables shut. That way you know if someone has “tampered” with your stuff!

Can you imagine, over the course of her employment, how many credit card numbers an social security numbers that she has stolen? And if she did it there wouldn’t she just do it at the next job she has.

I agree with the other comments, and did anyone notice, not only did she NOT put clean sheets on the bed, but the pillows were on the carpet. YUCK! Funk of a thousand fleas! I, too would like the name of the place, so I never stay there.

I travel a lot – always leave my bags locked. In some dodgy countries, I dont trust the hotel safes – its surprising how easy it is to get into them. To date I have never had a thing stolen in 25 years of international travel – but its because I take all the precautions. Oh and I also NEVER leave my toothbrush out in full view. Its not the first time someone has used a travellers toothbrush to clean their own teeth.

Never leave anything precious in hotels no matter how expensive you paid for the room. The maids are not always reliable and trustworthy. Unless you have a suitcase that can be locked, you don’t trust anyone anywhere anymore. Life has changed and people can not be trusted.
