This is the BEST Andrea Bocelli song EVER. Listen as he joins the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in Salt Lake City, Utah for an unforgettable rendition of “The Lord’s Prayer.”

He is a wonderful singer and they were a lovely choir but it is such a pity that he didn’t mention Gods name as he sang the words “hallowed be thy name” Ps 83.18 says “may people know that you whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the most high over all the earth” gods’ name is Jehovah.

This was performed, as close as I can determine, in 2006 – first time I have seen it – outstanding! There is no mention of God’s name as the song is written. It is understood, and is as the prayer is given in the Bible.

This might a close tie with his Ave Maria … I was fortunate enough to be one of ten sopranos who sang with him at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas, … and I’m a Mormon! (I
converted a couple of years after I sang with him …)
