The Thousand Hands Guan Yin Dance

The dance of the Thousand Hand Guan Yin is a Chinese dance named after the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy. What’s particular about it, besides its beauty, is that all 63 members of the troupe who perform this incredibly difficult dance are deaf. They feel the music through speakers and are guided by hand gestures… Absolutely breathtaking!

Amazing that they’re all deaf! What gifts they possess to be able to sense the throb of the music in the air and their feet. Bless whoever thought to teach them to be able to do this.
