The Tiniest Dog in the World!

Little Meysi is less than 3 inches tall, less than 5 inches long and weighs a bit under 6 oz – about the same as a hamster. He was born in Poland and it was so tiny that the owner didn’t even see it at first and was about to throw it away with the placenta when she saw it move! It’s understandable; this thing is 16 times lighter than its siblings! It’s so cute! I want one!

That is amazing, she is absolutely adorable. I would be so afraid she would get hurt though by accident.

Please remove this, as a Yorkie owner I can tell you there are many problems with dogs being so tiny and it should not be encouraged to want them so small. This is one of the worst things that has happened to this breed and others – this may have not been intentional but people see this and breeders have been breeding for tiny/teacup dogs and it is not good for the welfare of the dogs. They are not meant to be tiny and you can ask any veterinarian the risks involved. Please take this post down.

Take a break lady, she was just showing how little it was. Stay off the site if you don’t like it.

There is no such thing as a *Teacup*. They are just runts. Some survive, some don’t. They are also very fragile. One wrong move can be a tragedy. Of course they are adorable, but it is unhealthy for the dog. Yorkies should be at least 5 pds before they are thought about being bred.
