Fenton the Labrador (But they all love to call him Benton) chasing red deer in Richmond Park, London is the FUNNIEST thing I’ve seen all day 🙂 They took Fenton for a walk, nobody expected a herd of a wild deer in the area, that’s when Fenton, the dog, decided to chase them and of course hilarity ensued

Honestly I don’t think this is funny at all OMG the poor dog CHASED the deer IN TO TRAFFIC!! They could have been hit by cars and if any one had hit them it could have caused a horrible pile up with fatalities both animal AND human the dog could have been killed also ! I have a pretty good sense of humor it can be warped at times but this is NOT humor!

Yup .. and what I don’t understand is that the owner, knowing the deer were there, actually walked the dog off lead! Why would he do that?

It isn’t really funny since the deer or dog could have been hurt on the highway, but it is an unusual video. I hope the man got his dog back! My Yorkie would do the same thing, even at her size. The deer probably started by running from the dog, but the stampede could have been the deer running from a man screaming, “Fenton!”.

The federal wildlife act in Canada states that any one can legally shoot a dog caught harassing deer, moose, or bear. I know it’s harsh but unchecked dogs can do an incredible amount of damage to a wild deer population. Google “dogs harass deer” for more info.
