It seemed like any other day for this guy. Driving home from work. It was very windy though. He was driving his Nissan Leaf down the road Tuesday, when the car came to a sudden halt when a large tree fell directly onto his electric vehicle, crushing the car. I bet he’ll never forget that day, at least he was unharmed and can tell this story…. Where you ever involved in a car accident?

The tree looked like an Australian Red Gum they are nicked named the “Widow Maker” as they are prone to just drop small and large limbs on still days with no wind. So you never camp under one.

We were traveling I70 towards KC. Had just entered Columbia,Mo and it was tsing hard. Cars began hydroplaneing everywhere. A semi hit us in the rear. I ended up on the console between the two front seats. Had four broken ribs and was in ICU for a few days.
