This team rescued this young eight months old calf early this week. Luckily the report came in early in the morning so they were able to get there quick before the mother was forced to leave by herders arriving to water their cattle. It was a happy ending as they were able to reunite the calf with her mother…. I don’t know you guys, but when I saw them running towards each other I cried…..

Nice story. But if these folks carried a couple shovels with them they could have simply collapsed one small wall of the hole so it wasn’t so steep and the elephant could have just walked out. Work smarter, not harder.
