So the additives were sugar and something else. Phosphorus or something right? I think the second additive is a preservative. Is this the case? I know cancer loves acidity which sugar is. As for the other additive, what health concerns are there?

The potatoes always seem to be long. What happens with all of the waste? I eat a lot at “In and Out” burgers here in California. They make their fries from scratch but they always have a lot of real short fries in the mix. Left to chance I am sure that is going to happen. Not with McDonald’s Fries. They are all long. What gives?

Fred, I’ve worked for Simplot for 4 years. Where we made Mac Fries. So I can tell you the potatoes are sent through a peeler. The peels are sent to cattle feed. After any bad spots are cut off from workers the potatoes are sent through a sizer, small potatoes fall through and the size they want for what ever restaurant is sent through the slicers. Waste water is used in the fields along with other waste from the process line. It is high in nutrients. The rest of the video is right.
