So sad. I’ve heard it said that we have to see ourselves in others before we can help them. To see so many walk by was painful.

I am so shocked. I thought surely, they would help anybody up. Faith in humanity once again knocked down. I have almost finished my training to be a nurse and never thought of myself having any more compassion or care about me than the next person. Maybe I am wrong?
Maybe it really is a virtue not everybody has?
Or maybe people need to just get over themselves, their judgements and the preconceptions and treat every damn human as their equal.

I worked in London for many years and every single morning I gave a homeless man enough money for a breakfast and hot coffee….His thanks and appreciation gave me so much pleasure and this video really saddened me to the core……..A little bit of humanity, kindness and respect for others less fortunate, costs NOTHING…

  24. It was a chain reaction sorta like if a person saw someone going to help him up others join in. For me I would have been the first to help. I have a brother age 58 who lives in a nursing home and me and my husband and one friend and one son are the only people who visits him at least that I know of. it is pitiful and he is a Marine Veteran too.
