This cute  five-year-old danced to Swift’s “Shake It Off” to raise awareness for Dwarfism Awareness Month in October. Her name is Rilee and she has Achondroplasia, that’s why it is so important that this video goes viral so she can raise awareness for a virtually unknown disease. PLEASE SHARE!

I don’t feel that dwarfism is a disease!there’s so many other diseases they need awareness!

Dwarfism isn’t a disease and I think this shows exactly why there needs to be a little more awareness about it.

Try buying clothes, driving a car, simplest thing use a public bathroom..dare you to stay on your knees for a whole day just in your house and yes you must reach everything with a stick that would give an accurate length for new found shortness. See how unimportant it is to have awareness for this disease/disability=operable because they have to be, other stupid people used the same thing about wheel chair access. To bad there is no pill for stupidity.

Seriously? Whether its a disease or not, its still something this little girl and many other people face. She doesn’t get to live a normal life like every other child. It doesn’t matter what diseases you think need more awareness. She and others with dwarfism deserve awareness as well. That was such a petty comment.

Achondroplasia is different than dwarfism and like many congenital syndromes there are many other medical consequences to the condition.

Very cute indeed. Achondroplasia however is not a disease, it is a birth defect. Its also far from virtually unknown. In fact, the exact chomosome that causes the defect is known. There is no way to cure this, people actually grow old having this defect. Why not just share because it is cute, without playing the pity game?

Why not be a little kinder? It doesn’t matter how you feel or if she gets to grow old. She still doesn’t get to live a normal life and has to face obstacles people without the disorder don’t have to deal with. It’s not a pitty game, you are just plain rude.

Shake it off kiddo!..that’s the exact spirit ya need to have in life.. And I don’t just say this as she has dwarfism.. I say this because all kids, all of us, we all need to learn to shake the shit off every once in a while.. We all get soo hung up on stupid, unnecessary and time wasting things.. I think it’s a gorgeous, cute way to show and encourage awareness for this illness?/ ailment? Achondroplasia too.. Keep it up ya beautiful little girl..x God Bless you sweetheart

Some of you people are the real retards. Who cares if it is a disease or a birth defect you ignorant fools. Go educate yourself and read the american journal of med…Come’ on people. This is a video about a cute beautiful little girl who is just trying to bring awareness in a cute entertaining way! Kudos for her family and the little girl for having nerve to post this around you tube. That is great for confidence! Not everyone is model figure and not everybody has a child on model magazines. So get over your self you people who are debating about her age and whether she has a disease or birth defect. She is a human being and cute as hell with a lot of confidence to credit! Now if you all can educate yourself on what is a disease and what is a birth defect…then she made her point!

I showed my 5 year old grand son this cute little girl dancing. I ask him if he could dance too. He said not as good as her! He asked were she lived, and said she was cute. I thought it was so sweet. All we see is a very cute little girl having fun!! God Bless. ❤ 🙂
