Deer that age are very trusting and curious. They have not learned to fear man or know what a man with a gun can do. As far as it changing the hunter, I imagine he will go on hunting as usual, because most hunters know all about deer and know that they start out as fawns, and seeing one up close and personal is not going to change anything. Calves are cute and adorable too , so are lambs and chicks and piglets. But they grow up fast, and in the end many will end up on someone’s table. Seeing them as babies does not keep the majority of people from partaking of them when they become adult animals. That is Reality after Disney.

It could quite possibly have CWD, though I don’t know if they get it that young. The symptoms can be similar to rabies, i.e. indifference to humans and other danger.
Also, they are not hunting, looks like they are just target shooting.

These guys are so stupid, Why the need to shoot while the fawn is around just to show how macho they are. And talking about using it for hunting bait. The poor thing is probably deaf and got left behind because it could not hear it’s mom calling. This should be removed before it gives some other guys ideas of how to treat animals.
