This mom was tired of her son ignoring her calls so she learned about apps and came up with one that would fix this problem… I gotta say, I don’t have any kids, but if I did, I would put this app in their cellphones… Check it out here!

Or instead, you could teach your kids respect for their parents. And remind them that having a phone is a privilege — not a right! — that can be taken away. Seems like she took the more convoluted path to get the same response.

I tend to agree, I am very fortunate that I can trust and have mutual respect for my three girls (and no they are not fooling me, they are just lovely people)!! One thing did occur to me tho, I was thinking that the son in the video seemed at least 18 or 19 – I don’t know about the U.S. but in New Zealand and at that age it would be more like an invasion of privacy on the part of the mother!

INVASION OF PRIVACY. I DON’T CARE IF HE IS 190. ITS HIS MOM. WHAT IF SHE IS ILL AND NEEDS HIS HELP, WHAT IF THERE HAS BEEN AN ACCIDENT OF SOMEONE IN THE FAMILY. ITS HIS MOM SO CALL NO MATTER WHAT. When my son wouldn’t answer or call me back I called our cell phone carrier and had his phone turned off. I’d buy this app in a heartbeat.

My kids know better. The first time my daughter ignored my call, I refused to pay her cell phone bill for the next month. I tell them at the start that the main reason I pay for a cell phone for them is so that I can get in touch with them at any time, or vice versa. When that can’t happen then i’m just wasting my money paying for a cell phone for them.

Most people are missing the point, which is what you can learn from this woman. With no experience, formal education on developing softwares, she set her mind to developing one that would do exactly what she wanted, and she achieved it.. How many people out there quit before they even start thinking Bout an idea, yeah, u got that right, plenty. .
Whether the app security is weak, your kids got respect, or whatever that makes u think you can do better, that’s not an issue. . You have aet your mind to a whole lot of things, and only a handful achieved.
People should stop pushing for negativity, and try and have a positive mind, try to learn something from what other people do thab being super critics. .
Big up to this woman, i hope she makes it big in her app development venture..

Let’s get to the root of the matter. Kids don’t call back because they have been trained by mommy not to answer the phone because of what mommy wants to know now. Mommy wants to know “EVERYTHING”…..MOMMY NEEDS TO NOT BE SO ANAL. MOMMY needs to not be so controlling. Mommy needs to not be so insecure. Mommy needs to be a mommy not a female gestapo. When Mommy starts to eliminate the aforementioned
character deficiencies things will improve on their own. No App needed.

For the most part, it is a good idea. As a teenager though, I could understand how it could be used in the wrong way. Another teenager could download the app and use it to mess with another kid. Hacking like this is very common in this day and age. Another thing, what about when the teen gets older? Then if they are busy, or don’t want to talk on the phone, the parent gets all pissy and shuts it off! Both arguments are usable.
