This is one of my top favorite songs. I had a country band years ago and this is one of the 2 most requested songs, but we NEVER did it like that. She brought tears to my eyes when she started singing. What a beautiful talent that young lady has!

You can make a living playing covers in bars, and scrape by. If you want to actually make it as a musician, you have to write your own music. Composing music and playing already composed music are completely different skills. Not to put her down, but they push these people through there show and make it seems to emotional but the reality is they’re never going to make it. Its a dead end, and its entertainment, and that’s all it is. She will never make a decent living unless she writes her own music. And how well she plays piano cannot dictate how well she’ll be able to write music, or how well she’ll be able to learn how to write music.
This is just a highschool talent show with a million dollar budget. You’re being fed fake emotions. She’s back out doing what she did after this. That confidence boost is nothing but false hope, you get a big gust of confidence and you try and take on the world, but really you’re not prepared. The life of a musician is hard, why do you think they all die young?
The music industry is no place for a kid either. If she gets signed they’re gonna write songs for her. If she’s not attractive when she grows up she’ll be on her ass. If she is attractive later in life she’ll be sexualized for the viewing pleasure of every and any man in the entire world.
