Squirrels Carve Face in Pumpkin!

Wait, did this squirrel just carve a face in this pumpkin? Worst part, she did a better job than my husband 😉  Can you explain to me how they got the squirrel to carve that? Any ideas?

  5. Best guess, they painted (and possibly injected) the pumpkin with a sugar glaze (or peanut oil) solution at the points where they wanted the squirrel to gnaw …

Funny, if the rodents had skinny tails (rats) everyone would say how disgusting, and not cute, they are……

That’s very true. Nobody likes a hairless, pink, nasty tale. That’s why humans did away with them years ago.. 🙂

  10. It is cute! But I noticed that at 1:27, the top has already been cut into. Must have put something in the pumpkin for them to go “nuts” over it 😀

If you watch closely they have two different pumpkins in the video. At 1;26 when the squirrel is on top you can see that the pumpkin has the top cut off but in the next shot it does not. It goes back and forth a few times from one with the top cut and then not cut. Also in a couple of the scenes the squirrel is eating the top of the pumpkin no where near where the face would be so I assume multiple pumpkins were used. Some camera tricks going on here along with something added to the pumpkin to get the squirrel to eat at it.
